🎬 Media Day is one of my favorite things to shoot — and once you see the results, you'll understand why.
If your team has never done a proper media day session before, you might be picturing a plain backdrop and a standard team photo. What we do at SportsFox Photography is a completely different experience. Think bold lighting, dramatic effects, action poses, and portraits that look like they belong on a magazine cover. Your athletes are going to look like the stars they are.
Here's exactly what to expect from a SportsFox Media Day.
📍 We Come to You
No traveling to a studio, no unfamiliar locations. I come to your gym, field, rink, turf, dugout, or locker room — whatever space means the most to your team. Your home turf becomes the backdrop, and we use professional lighting, colored fog, dramatic effects, and creative posing to transform it into something extraordinary.
⏱ Plan for About 2 Hours
For a team of up to 25 athletes, plan for roughly two hours. Each athlete gets three poses plus action shots, and team and group photos are included. More than 25 athletes? We just add a little extra time — no problem.
👕 What to Bring
Come in your clean game uniform and bring any gear that's part of your sport — helmet, stick, glove, whatever makes you feel like yourself on game day. Props are welcome and honestly encouraged. Medals, awards, extra gear — bring it. The more personality, the better.
🖼 What You'll Receive
Each athlete receives a minimum of 10 fully edited digital images via a private gallery link. You have full rights to print, share, and post your images. Team and individual shots can also be submitted to your school's athletic department for programs and yearbooks.
📅 Timeline
Your edited gallery will be ready within 14 days of the session.
The Story Behind the Session 📖
When I show up for a media day, my job isn't just to take pictures — it's to make every single athlete feel like a champion. That means taking the time to direct them, suggest poses that fit their sport and their personality, and create images that capture who they actually are, not just what they look like standing in a line.
I've worked with athletes across Central PA in every sport you can think of, and what I've found is that these sessions have a way of surprising people.

What Makes SportsFox Different
Media day photography isn't just portrait photography — it requires knowing sports, knowing athletes, and knowing how to create drama and energy in a photo. I bring professional lighting rigs, fog machines, and years of experience directing athletes of all ages and skill levels. The result is a gallery full of images that feel cinematic, not clinical. Your team deserves that.
