Every session is 90 minutes and completely customized around your athlete.
We plan everything in advance — locations, poses, lighting setups, and the specific gear and props that tell your athlete's story. On session day, we move through each setup efficiently so your athlete never feels rushed, but we also leave room for the unexpected moments that make the best images.
What to bring:
- Home and/or away uniform(s) — or both if you want variety
- Practice gear, warm-ups, or any alternate looks
- Sport-specific equipment — sticks, balls, helmets, gloves, anything that's part of the sport
- Awards or medals if you want to include them
- Cap & gown if you're a senior who wants graduation portraits

What's the difference between Sportraits and a regular senior session?
A standard senior session focuses on casual portraits at pretty outdoor
locations. A Sportraits session is built around your athletic identity —
dramatic in-camera lighting, fog effects, sport-specific poses, and your
gear and uniform. It's cinematic, bold, and designed to look nothing like
a typical senior photo.
Can we do both sports portraits AND traditional senior photos in the same session?
Yes — and seniors often do exactly that. We can do the dramatic athletic
portraits in uniform and then move into a more traditional senior session,
including cap & gown, in the same 90-minute appointment.
Do you travel to our location?
Yes — we come to you. Your gym, field, court, rink, or any location
meaningful to your athlete. No travel required.
How many images will we receive?
Every session includes 25+ fully edited digital images delivered to your
private online gallery within 14 days.
Are these good for college recruiting profiles?
Absolutely. High-quality, professional athletic portraits make a strong
impression in recruiting profiles, commitment announcements, and on
social media. Many athletes book Sportraits sessions specifically for
recruiting purposes.
What sports do you photograph?
All of them. Football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, field hockey,
ice hockey, baseball, softball, wrestling, swimming and diving, track and
field, lacrosse, tennis, cross country, cheerleading, dance — if your
athlete competes, we can make them look like the champion they are.
How far in advance should we book?
As early as possible — especially for seniors. Spring fills up fast
as senior season approaches, and fall books quickly once sports seasons
kick off. Reach out to check current availability.
Can parents or friends attend the session?
Absolutely — we encourage it. Bring a parent, a friend, some snacks,
and your athlete's favorite music. The more comfortable and relaxed
your athlete is, the better the photos.
