The Session Recap
Spring sports season means one thing around here — it's time to make some magic. When Hershey Lacrosse came in for their Seniors Media Day, I knew we were going to have a great time. These girls brought the energy, the personality, and honestly — the poses. Senior sessions are always special because the athletes know each other, they're comfortable together, and that confidence shows up in every single frame. The result? Images that look like they belong in a magazine, not just a yearbook.
The Story Behind the Shots 📸
Media Day is all about capturing who these athletes are — not just how they play, but the personality behind the jersey. For Hershey Lacrosse seniors, that meant dramatic lighting, reflective surfaces, sticks laid out just right, and three athletes who absolutely knew how to work a camera.
The dark background setup is one of my favorites for this kind of session. It strips away every distraction and puts the focus exactly where it belongs — on the athlete. Add in that floor reflection and the gear laid out in front of them, and you've got an image that feels cinematic and personal at the same time.
Senior Media Days aren't just photo sessions. They're a celebration of years of hard work, early practices, and everything these athletes have given to their sport. Getting to document that moment — right before they close this chapter — is something I genuinely don't take for granted.
