Two Days, Zero Doubt
M&D Black 2031 opened the @thinklaxtourneys Summer Genesis Origins tournament with two straight wins over Eagle Stix Blue and Sky Walker Blue at Central Dauphin East High School in Harrisburg, PA. The playoffs brought the toughest test of the weekend, a 5-4 overtime win over BLC Blue that punched their ticket to the championship game. From there, M&D Black 2031 took down Heros to be named 2031 Division Champions.
The Story Behind The Photos
When M&D Black 2031 brought me on to cover Summer Genesis Origins, the goal was simple: capture the whole weekend the way the team lived it — pool play, the OT gut-check in the semis, and the championship celebration. Club and travel team coverage works a little differently than free game day galleries; these images are built for the team and shared directly with the families who were there.
