LD Falcons are the Mid Penn Lacrosse Champions
On May 15, 2026, the State College Little Lions found out exactly what the Falcons had built. They found out at Landis Field, in front of everyone who mattered, in the most defining way possible.

The Turning Point Nobody Saw Coming
In this game, it happened when State College attempted to clear the ball and came up short. The Falcons read it perfectly. The goalie was out of position. Lower Dauphin was on it before State College could recover, and from that moment forward, LD was simply a different team.
That is the kind of play that is almost impossible to anticipate as a photographer. You are tracking the flow of the game, reading body language, anticipating where the ball is going. When a clear collapses that fast and a team converts with that kind of conviction, you either have the shot or you do not. The energy on the Falcons' side of the field shifted noticeably and immediately.
The Medal Presentation
If the game itself was about execution and composure, the medal presentation was about everything underneath.
Photographing championship presentations is a different kind of work than game action. The technical demands are lower, but the emotional precision required is higher. A medal going around a neck means something different for every athlete on that field, and the best images find that difference.
