The Recap 🏐
This one had everything. Hempfield came out firing and took the first two sets, and it looked like the Black Knights might cruise. Cumberland Valley had other plans. The Eagles battled back to take the next two sets and force a winner-take-all fifth. With everything on the line, Hempfield closed it out for the 3-2 victory and punched their ticket to the PIAA 3A state championship.
Five sets of blocks at the net, full-extension digs, and a student section that never sat down. The energy in that gym was something else, and the celebration photos tell you everything you need to know about what this win meant to these guys.
